A family tribute
One life, remembered in its strength, humor, and joy.
This Story to Song example is about my grandmother, Joan. Joan was one of six children born to her mother, though one sibling died in infancy. Her mother died when Joan was seven, and her father could not care for the family. By nine, Joan was on her own. After the orphanage, Joan and her two brothers were placed together in one foster home, separated from their two sisters. She had to grow up quickly. At fifteen, she began working as a nanny.
Her story also holds so much light. Joan was independent, devoted to her family, and loved dancing in her favorite yellow dress. Her middle name was Gertrude—a name she hated—so I gave that family detail a playful moment in the song.
I brought these memories together to honor her resilience, warmth, humor, and joy. This is how personal memories, human creativity, and AI-assisted tools can come together to create a song that keeps someone’s spirit close.

These terms apply after you approve your personalized quote. Submitting the request form does not require payment or commit you to an order.
After you approve your custom quote, you’ll receive a secure Square invoice for the 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due before the final creation is delivered. Available payment options will be shown securely by Square at checkout.
Custom poems are completed within 5–7 business days. Personalized story-to-song creations are completed within 10–14 business days. Letter turnaround is provided with the quote. Timelines begin after the deposit and all requested details are received.
One revision is included. The deposit becomes nonrefundable once work begins. If you cancel before work begins, the deposit will be refunded.
Your story and finished creation are kept private and will not be publicly shared by EmbersRose Productions™ without your written permission. Voice notes recorded on this page stay in your browser and are not uploaded to the site. If you download and attach one to your email request, it will be kept private under this policy. Custom creations are for personal use; commercial release or distribution is not included.
Sarah leads the storytelling process using the memories, personal details, emotions, and musical style you share. AI-assisted writing tools may be used to help develop or refine the lyrics, and AI music technology is used to create the vocals and instrumentation. Sarah reviews, revises, and guides the creation so the finished song reflects the heart of your story.
